Insight CTS questions

So ive been playing around with my insight and I cant seem to find an option for engine oil pressure or for hpop pressure. Are they able to be read without any add on sensors? I can monitor ipr voltage but that seem it for the oil besides temp... truck is an '04. Thanks for any advice

Ya i updated it back in december when i got it...ive got an pid listed for icp voltage but not pressure, and nothing for actual engine oil pressure. I cant imagine the dash oil pressure gauge is very accurate.

The 6.0 don't have a oil pressure sensor per say, the oil pressure gauge in the dash is reading off a pressure switch. As long as the oil is hitting around 12psi, the needle on the dash gauge will be in the center.

In order to read actual low pressure oil, you need to use a aftermarket sensor and gauge.

Another thing to try with the Edge and '03-'04 trucks is, you need to manually type in the VIN of the truck.

The reason the CTS provides ICP Voltage instead of ICP Pressure is because most tuners spoof the ICP transfer function which results in inaccurate ICP Pressure values. It is preferred to use the ICP Volts and then graph it out.

There is no PID for engine oil pressure, so the only way an Insight can display it is with the use of the EAS 100 pis pressure sensor.
