6.0 how far can I go

Hey guys I have heard that you can only go so far with performance parts with the 6.0 before having to change out your head studs. I wanting to figure out how far I can go without having to change out the head studs as far as programmers and stuff.

Thanks

IDK

How Far do you want to go with her???

for real though... An SCT tuner with custom tunes from reputable tuners like Eric, Matt, Vivian, and Chris...

They all have good reputations for non-studded trucks

Then you willl want:

Erics Extreme Street (i have it)

Matt's SRL (i have it)

Vivian's Looney (soon)

Chris's Mild Panty Dropper(soon)

Every truck reacts differently to each tune... I HAVE recently started hearing Chris's tunes are pretty sick... They will probably be the next ones

It will depend on your truck and the tune. My daily driver tune would lift your heads within a month. I run a studded tune though so that is comparing apples and oranges. There are plenty of people on here running race tunes without studs.

The higher the HP tune the more fuel efficient it is as long as you can keep your foot out of it.

Hopefully some day westcoast I will be running studs but for now its mainly MPG's. Four dollors a gallon and 500 mile drive I need to figure out how to gain some fuel mileage.

I guess you could try out the Free Spartan tunes for MPG...

Get the SCT tuner and the tunes are downloadable... They work good for me and get the BEST MPG right now

Like I said the higher the HP the tune the better the mileage.
