Shaft question:)

Ok now that I got your attention.. I'm talking about my front end inner/outer shaft. I blew mine in the recent Truck Wars we had here in S.FL. Anyway my question is there something better then OEM replacement? I gotta price for the inner shaft u-joint an outer shaft as a set for $500.
Other then the Truck War thing I don't need the 4wheel drive that much but I'm planning on launching in 4-hi at the drags so if there is something better out there I don't know what it would be..

Thanks as always...

"Shaft Question"

.... No I don't know what that is. Does it itch???"

Definitely check out the Dynatrac shafts, they should be strong enough for your truck wars shenanigans

Six-o.... Swallow the pill an tell us why you stumbled in for a view..

TooMuch... Your excuses are excepted an noted.

I did contact them an got an email straight back that I would do well to check with Superior Axle an Gear as well as RCV Performance. Superior's web-site has both shafts (no u-joint) listed as $399.00ea. So that would run me close to $800 plus the joint. I might just go OEM an keep the beers at bay, it was the beers that MADE my foot push so hard on that poor little peddle in 4low. I'm not sure the boys in blue planned on having all 6 spinning as the motor is talking loudly to the rev-limiter..

I don't know how to rotate the vid but no matter what angle you listen to it at 23..24..25..26 seconds in the snap crackle pop sounds the same.

Now I know it was dumb, very dumb but you gotta give a little credit that i stayed in it even after I heard the shaft blow.... I hate to lose
