What is a good everyday nearly smoke free tune?

Im running an sct canned performance tune but whenever i have to get on the pedal quickly for whatever reason, it smokes noticeably, and it pisses me off. Even when in park and if i tap the pedal quicky, like quickly giving it around 1/10 throttle, it smokes. this is a crappy tune, unless my foot is to the floor and im hot rodding it then it hauls. but thats not why i bought this truck. i really like the stock tune but its tuned for emission control, and i dont want that. is there a good clean, custom tune out there that does not smoke all the time? im not really looking for power here just a good all around clean, responsive, economical, versatile tune.

My srl was real clean but all tunes will smoke lightly when u pump a bunch fuel in when turbo hasn't lit like jumping on the throttle or little taps in park.

Matt with Gearhead automotive has his SRL.

Matt has a great reputation of making the least smokey tunes

Chris at TSD makes a very low smoke (kind of like a dark haze at most) tune with his SPD and its only $50. Not to mention his tranny shifts are amazing as well. JMO.

I second Matt's SRL but Chris's tunes are nice too. Don't forget Vivian's Looney. That's a real nice DD tune as well.

You need to talk to the tuner of your choice and tell them exactly what you want.
IMO I would turn off all the EGR Functions and scalars, and Zero out the EGR tables.
I would leave the rest stock except for the 3/4 and up throttle.
It would be like stock without an EGR up to 3/4 throttle and then the power would be added.

What makes a stock tune not smoke? Is it just the lack of fuel? I mean I have zero smoke when I hammer the throttle when truck is stock tuned.

They limit the fuel until the boost comes up. The EPA don't like smoke.
When tuned for power there is additional fuel added to get the boost up quicker resulting in some smoke.
