4" muffler fit on factory exhaust?

Hello, I have both a cat and a 4" mbrp muffler that was given to me. I am going to gut the cat and want to install the muffler. Can the factory pipe be expanded enough to install the muffler? Im sure the muffler is a lot shorter than the stock one. Do exhaust shops usually stock this size pipe? I seem to remember the factory exhaust being a weird size. If I had to buy pipe, it probably would just be easier to get a cat back. If your wondering why I dont just go turbo back, Its still under warranty so Im not going that route.

for another 5 years, then after that probably another 5 years if I renew my ESP.

I'm sure any muffler/exhaust shop can make that muffler work. Stock exhaust is 3.5".
