Smile EGR Delete install ?`

I have searched lots but haven't found an answer. Just wondering how long/hard it is to install an EGR delete on a 05 6.0?
Thanks Jack

It's not hard to do, it's just time consuming when you do it your first time.

Expect about a half a day to complete it... iF you have problems w/ turbo bolts, uppipe bolts, ect it might take a full day...

I would plan on taking a day and if it goes good then

Not really hard but just a little long because of everything you have to pull off. Since you probably have never torn this far into your truck, I would plan for a full day just to be safe and allow you ample time so you dont have to rush. Basically, you have to remove your air box, turbo, oil & fuel filter assembly, and intake manifold to be able to remove the EGR cooler. Some kits will tell you that you dont have to remove the intake manifold and that is true but it sure makes it easier if it is out of the way IMO. Oh yea make sure to drain the coolant down as well. Hope this helps.
