New Exhaust and DP question, tried searching

Hello Gents,

I have done some searching but just want to confirm. I am in the process of again upgrading my exhaust due to outlet location being infront of the passenger rear tire and that wheel n tire becoming powder coated soot black every 2k miles or so after cleaning. I was looking into finding a 4" downpipe system but just to confirm is the only true 4" dp system a magnaflow? My MBRP is a 3.5" dp. From what i have read, a 3.5" is perfect for the VGT setup, and a 4" is better for nonvgt (thus my setup). I know the power level will not be that much more substantial but the EGTs will drop a hair more.

So is my only option a magnaflow kit or a custom kit say MBRP 5" with someone else's downpipe?

If so whom makes a true 4" dp?

thanks in advance

The summit brand exhaust was 4" DP, I bought mine back in '05, so I don't know if they still are.

Diamond Eye should be a 4" DP to 5" pipe. If I remember correctly.
