Another tuner question

Ok, I have decided to bite the bullet and do some work to my truck, I am very confused with all the choices out there. I bought a SC2 but now that I want to put a tuner on I realize I need something different. I've read that the SCT's are the way to go. With the Livewire do you need a monitor? I really like the CTS but don't want to spend the coin if I don't have to. Thx. Coach

You want to look at the SCT X-3 with custom tunes. This will allow you to unplug the SGII, plug in the X-3 and load your tune, then unplug the X-3 and then plug your SGII back in for gauges.
