SCT canned tunes...egr

Does anyone know if the canned tunes from SCT close the EGR valve? If not, this would be one more piece of motivation to buy custom tunes. If anyone knows that would be great.

Anybody get much smoke from the full fuel before boost with the high power file?

with the canned tunes, I get more than enough soot, if I mash the pedal at idle rpm, it pours out

yes but the canned tunes are written for a truck with stock components.
you need custom tunes to properly function with larger turbo/injectors etc....

i have the full fuel before boost mixed in with the high power file and i didn't see that much smoke, i also have stock injectors i don't know if that may be the problem?
