Looking to Straight Pipe

I have an 03 6.0L Crew Cab Long Bed. Looking into straight piping my beast. Haven't had anything really upgraded, but recently had the turbo rebuilt. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should get and where to get it? I have a lot of experience with gas engines, but very little with diesel and to my understanding the less back pressure the better. Thanks a lot guys, still learning the diesel tricks.

A 4 inch turbo back with a 3.5 inch down tube will be what you're after. 5 inch systems don't sound any different and the 4" down pipe some come with is a real PITA to install.

No cat, no resonator, no muffler, NO PROBLEM!

If you want the most sound, you'll want a 5 inch. I love mine. It's a Diamond Eye 5 inch straight pipe with a 4 inch Down Pipe. I bought mine from Performance Machine Mfg. It's completely different sound from a 4 inch. I get comments and compliments on it every day. 4 inch sounds good, but the 5 inch is a deeper, louder tone. It's an awesome sound. If you don't think the 4 and 5 sound different, look them up on you tube or on here. Good Luck!

Who needs You Tube? I've heard them BOTH for myself, my friend has a 4" down tube/5" straight pipe, it sounds just like my 3.5"/4" straight pipe.

I live in sac town. I have delete pipes. I got them from pure diesel power. I have both muffler and cat delete pipes. I put the cat back on when I have to smog it.

I am 100% happy with the delete pipes.

Just deleted my muffler. Now it's insanely loud. Massive grumble. Running 4" duals. I think the neighbors are really gonna hate me now. Funny thing is my buddy has a straight pipe t.b. and his has almost no grumble.

Programmers make the exhaust louder at WFO, another reason why I hate any time that I have to put mine back to stock.

Wow. Ive heard plenty on 4" and 5" exhausts in different configurations, ( cat, no-cat, muffler, no muffler) and I've yet to find a 4" and 5" that sound the same.
