whats is needed to get 500 horse reliably

just like the title says, what do i need to do to get a reliable 500 horses out of my PSD. gauges are a given.

I have:
studs
egr delete
cfm large mouth with pipe
4'' turbo back no kitty no muff
blue spring
zoodad
58v FICM
hpop stc

I want:
custom tunes (SCT)

where should i be currently and what should i go with next, any input would be great!!

in addition to your current mods, add an ficm tune, 190/75's and a race tune and you'll be just shy of that.

He is referring to 190cc injectors with 75% over stock sized nozzles. You can get a FICM tune from Power Hungry Performance (PHP), Innovative Diesel Performance (IDP), and KEM Performance.

ok i get it, sory for the dumb question. I got my FICM from innovative it is the 58 volt "upgraded" model, what is the difference between that one and the tuned version??

No worries. Warren Diesel hands down the best place to go IMO. Your FICM is called "the upgraded model" because it is 58v and not 48v. Like PCMs or ECMs, FICMs have programming or strategies, if (when it was all said and done with the core charges) you paid in the neighborhood of $600 for your FICM then you most likely have one with the latest Ford strategy. IDP does offer their own strategy which helps remove a lot of the restrictions in the factory programing for emissions and such to allow for more power, better fuel economy, and throttle response.

i paid a bit more than 600 after core charge was refunded, i will call them tomorrow to see what i got

i am looking into the injectors as we speak!

According to vivian with 190 and supporting mods eith good race tuning your capable of 600
