There's a guy on another forum that I know personally that I'll ask - he has an 06 and put an 03 turbo on his truck.

I just installed a LIPD VGT stage 2 turbo on my 05 this weekend. This was the first time I have ever done a turbo install. Everything that could have went wrong happened. Even though it was my first time, it still wasnt that bad. Word of advise. Disconnect the battery, remove the degas bottle from the firewall, and remove the plastic cover that runs along the top of the firewall and goes over the turbo. Also prolly the hardest thing to do is remove the turbo clamp. Its a bear! It shouldnt take longer the 3 hours max!
