I got the yellow tops, almost a year with no problems at all
I really shouldn't have the Autoguide iPhone app, but I do |

The platinum P4 is a AGM batterie built by Odyssey. I have had bad luck with the Optima's since they sold the company. |

Duralast golds have done great. 850CCA MINIMUM though.

+1 for the Duralasts. They got a great warranty. I had 2 matching Optima yellow tops in my last truck and they were junk. I'll never buy another Optima again.

Wierd. I'm running two Optima Yellow Tops in mine. Had em for a little over a year now. All is well in my world. Starts fine in 20* weather, not plugged in, with 15w40 oil. Had my glovebox light stuck on for a WHILE and didn't know it. It killed the batteries flat twice last year while I was deployed. (Wife had a buddy charge them up once, but she was barely starting it once a month, the second time the light killed em it sat for almost 2 months with a constant drain on them while being dead.) Like any good deep cycle....charge em up and it was good to go. I'm happy with them so far. We'll see how long they go, to see whether I replace them with the same thing. So far so good though.
