Powermax turbo and intake

when i get my tax return i want to invest in a pmax turbo and large mouth intake. question is do i need a fuel system now? or can i wait awhile. i have all other basic mods, intake, exhaust, tuner, studs. Also how would the transmission take it, im on a 6in lift and 35's. nothing wrong with stock turbo just want to upgrade.

U don't need a fuel system unless u go bigger injectors. I would also look at a coolant filter before a big mouth intake. I have yet to hear anyone say they notice any diff with those intakes other than looks and ease of attaching boost lines or a meth system

sorry ya had the egr delete and new oil cooler done also. truck blew when i first got it and dealer covered it all. I have autometer gauges now taped into i think its the maf line for boost and i was thinking of spray but wayyyyyy down the road. I just dont like the plastic intercooler pipe. I know my turck will never be crazy fast as the lift and tires and i already spank my buddys 05 cummins with same mods. So should i just do tubro? and do after market intercoolers help any?

also doubledrop love your truck what size lift is that? and what fender flares are you useing?

Wouldnt waste my money on an intake elbow til you needed it. The ports to tap into are nice, but unless your plan on using them now your money is better used for other things.

there is a kit to replace the palstic pipe with the FORD aluminum cold side pipe
you can get direct for Ford its either $127 or $172 something like that

ha no worries. my sig needs updating as well
currently running a Powermax instead of the 03 turbo
the flares are the stampede 'rough riderz' or something like that
i did a trade with another member a while back for my stock lariat flares
i like them over the bushwackers as they contour a but more to the truck

I would save up my pennies for a Banks IC Kit, better money spent than a CFM+ Kit and I am not even a Banks fan but there Intercoolers seem to be good quality.
