hpop

i have 225cc injectors and my oil pump died and i was wondering if i need a bigger one or if another stock one will be fine. thanks

That would be a more appropriate question for your injector builder, that is definitely on the edge of needing a larger pump and even if your stocker was maintaining ICP you could still gain power from a bigger pump.

alot of guys cant maintain ICP with a stock pump with 225s so you would gain from a aftermarket pump. Only problem is that aftermarket pumps are only available for 03-04 style pumps and if you have a 05+ motor and want to run a earlier style pump you have to remove the rear cover to change the hpo delivery tubes.

i have an 04 and i would call the injector builder but idk who that is. i got the injectors from liberator performance and he doesnt build them he said hes got a guy in maryland that does it, therfore i have no clue whats done to them. i cant even get my truck tuned right because of it. i dont know nozzle size or body mods or anything.

the nozzle size should be stamped in the nozzle. they should be 100% thats whats on most 225s. I have had a set built with 75%s but that was for a towing application and had to be asked for. There are 2 shops out of maryland that make 6.0 injectors that I know of, Innovative diesel and Maryland Performance Diesel.

I have one of Bobs (diesel site) upgraded pumps and its a nice unit! I dont have any numbers from it yet because the truck its going in isnt done yet.
