Do custom tunes shut off egr valve?

I plan on getting the srl tune soon for my sf3. Im just wondering if the egr valve will stay off at all times or if i should by an egr valve eliminator plug at the same time.

1. 03 and 04 don't pop the CEL after a EGR delte.
2. The EGR valve isn't the problem, its the EGR cooler. My valve is still in, and I have no intentions on removing it anytime soon.

Again, the EGR valve isn't the issue, the cooler and the up pipe robbing exhaust before the turbo are. If the cooler ruptures, it sends coolant into the intake as well.

I picked up a throttle response, and peel off EGTs quicker without the cooler in place.
