Number 1 diesel mixed with number 2

I have an 04 and I know the 6.0 is a finicky motor but a friend of mine has about 100 gallons of number 1 diesel and said he would let me have it for about 125$$ and I just want to make sure that it is ok to mix with number 2 diesel in my truck I only plan on mixing 5-10 gallons per full tank. I know it won't have as much oil in it and don't burn as hot as number 2 and I will loose some milage but for the price Id say it's worth it.... Only if it won't cause problems with the 6.0.
