A/C compressor cut out on DJ's tunes

I've been running stock since I'm towing and noticed the A/C compressor never cycles off during acceleration like it does in the economy tune I usually run. Do all the programmers do this? And can that feature be disabled? I really don't like the compressor kicking off when it's 97 outside. I'll take the 5-10 HP hit to be cool. I was just curious if this is something that can be turned off before I bug Vivian for more tune changes.
