Oiling a air filter

Quick question, does anyone know if it is a big deal if you use K&N oil on an Airriad filter. Or if it needs to be brand specific oil.

I would think its okay! Its probobly all the same with a different brand name on it

should be fine, all filter oil is pretty similar

I have a airaid but can't find anyone who sells the cleaner so I'm just gonna go wthe the K&N everyone I've talked to said it should be fine.

That is what I thought too, I just wanted to get some expert opinions.

I have been having a running argument with myself for a couple of weeks now about this. Thanks for the input.

I use Spectre on my aFe, both the cleaner and the oil. No problems so far.
