Oiling a air filter

Quick question, does anyone know if it is a big deal if you use K&N oil on an Airriad filter. Or if it needs to be brand specific oil.

That is what I thought too, I just wanted to get some expert opinions. I have been having a running argument with myself for a couple of weeks now about this. Thanks for the input.

I use Spectre on my aFe, both the cleaner and the oil. No problems so far.
