Matt's tunes ?

I currently live in upstate ny stationed with the army at ft drum and I hear a lot of good things about his tunes. However I do not have head studs egr delete or any of that. Would an extreme tune be safe to run once I get my monitor and check my vitals? Also will his tunes smoke on WOT military police are a$$holes about that here anyway and not looking for a ticket. Also not looking for a racetruck just more power and better fuel so would a canned sct tune be ok and would it be safe to run the extreme canned tune and will it smoke at WOT?? I want to be able to pull out on the road withouthavin to wait for a huge gap and not blowing smoke all over the place. Any info would be great

Matt's tunes are known to be some of the least smokey tunes available, and he writes tunes that are safe for stock head bolts and EGR enabled. In fact tunes can turn of the EGR so you don't use it but will pass a visual inspection and meet emissions if you go back to the stock tune. He is extremely easy to deal with, I highly recommend his tunes

+1 for Matt's tunes, my truck has a very faint haze at WOT and no visible smoke at partial throttle, perfect for me! I have no interest in "rolling coal" ...ever. I love the SRL!

Edited to add: yep, a ScangaugeII would suit your needs perfectly for monitoring the vitals, especially since you already have an EGT pillar gauge.
