Does My Truck Have Supplemental Heat?

How can I tell if my truck has the Supplemental Heat option? The part # of the heater core per my VIN through Ford calls for a 4C3Z-18476-BA but they could not tell me if the truck had supplemental heat or not.

I am looking to get a new heater core but everyone keeps asking about the supplemental heat and I would really rather not order the wrong heater core.

Not sure but I know everywhere I have searched for a heater core they have with or without supplemental heat and I am searching for an 07 F-250 6.0. Only thing I can figure is that they all use the same heater core. Just doesn't make any sense to me why that option would even show up for an 07.

Because trucks are released early to the model year they are built. 2007 was when the first '08s hit the streets. Just tell them the VIN with no supplemental heat. ASK about returns, if it's wrong then their system is giving you the wrong part.

This is a good reason why to find a GOOD local dealer who works with you.

I'll order the Non supplemental heat and see what I come up with.
