PPE for 6.0L

I know everyone will tell me to sct sct sct, but has anyone here ran a PPE for a 6.0?? I have a friend that was cleaing out a repossessed house and found a PPE still in the BOX! All the cables and everything was still with it and he said the box doesn't even look like its been opened before. Anyway, my dad just got a 6.0 and he's wanting to tune it. We've already addressed the egr/oil cooler and coolant flush, so I feel pretty comfortable sticking a tune on it. My friend says he will let us have this PPE real cheap, like $100 cheap. My dad doesn't care anything about hot-rodding, but does want to put some kind of tuner on it since he had his previous 7.3 tuned. Anybody with experience?

The only guy that I know of that ran a PPE went through three transmissions before he switched.
