Blue spring fuel pressure upgrade

I have found all the information on here without too much hassle and so thank you all for that!!

I just did the blue spring install and the truck is running much better and the truck is even more responsive.

now for the question, what is the black plastic piece to the left of the regulator cap and to the right of the spring that came in the kit? (see picture)

I am becoming paranoid because of the lack of knowledge on this and i feel as if i am missing a part in the fuel system because of it.

I've heard of people only replacing the spring. Maybe that plastic piece is already in there

Everything is already there. It is good to have the spare gaskets for future insurance. I took off the four black star head screws off and replaced the long black gasket in the silver housing. I added the new spring and tightened it back up. Works like a champ.

I didn't use it. I only used the spring and changed a few of the o-rings.

When I did mine I used the housing, the long black gasket for the housing, the little white thing with the rubber o-ring, and, of course, the blue spring. I kept all of the parts I didn't use and the old parts just in case.

Under 45 psi kills 6.0 injectors blue spring increases psi so that it never gets that low
