Looney Tune towed a new project home...

Well, the Looney will pull a 19ft Jet Boat nicely... I just brought a 1976 Jet Boat with a 460 in it about 90 miles back to my shop at school. I can't wait to see my students' faces when they see it in the morning. My EGTs only went to 1000 once, on a long hill when was really first getting moving. After that, I drove 65-70 through the small hills and I really never got much above 750 the whole trip. Pulled VERY nicely. For a DD, this tune can't be beat!

How much does the boat roughly weigh? Vivian told me to not tow anything above 3000 lbs

I'm not sure what the boat, engine and trailer weigh... I'm guessing maybe around 3000? It's a fairly heavy boat and a 460 is probably 600... Plus the trailer.
Pizza- you pulled that much on looney? How were your temps?
Rmorgan, that is a sweet looking setup! I like the LSU colors, being from la. Mine's not nearly on that level yet. We pulled it apart yesterday in the shop and found 2 brand new deerfeeders and a hummingbird fish/depth finder. Pleasant surprise! My kids pulled the 460 and we're going to open it up and check it out. It's supposed to be a fresh motor. We'll look it over. Where do you take your's out to?
