Muffler delete

About to tackle Cat delete and muffler delete on my 05 f250. The cat delete looks pretty easy, I was wondering about the muffler delete. If any of you guys have done this, did you cut the exhaust right after the muffler. I noticed on one side there is a clamp but the other side runs a solid piece to the tip. Also did anyone run into any support issues after removing the cat and muffler. BTW is on stock 3.5" exhaust. Thanks for any info and advice.

i had to cut mine cause i wasn't lifted at the time or i was just tired of fighting it. it seemed like i need just a few more inches to get it out in piece... i think if your lifted you shouldn't have to cut it...... i had an '05 that was lifted first and it came out in one piece, no cutting.

Mine isnt lifted, I'm thinking I'll just have to cut the exhaust on the back side of the muffler and insert the muffler delete into the cut part and clamp it. I can't believe no one has done this on their own.
