Black maxx help

Hey guys I just tried to update my black maxx and now it's saying it's vin locked but no vin number is in it any idea iv looked at how you do it a million times and I did everything right I'm lost

Ya iv tried all I know to do I'll be callin in the morning I don't understand how it can be vin locked with no vin saved on it oh well but thanks

if you had it loaded to your truck, your vin will still be in it. what all does it show in the show settings menu?

I'll have to look at it again but in the vin spot it has nothing no vin number is on it

On vehicle it says 03-07 ford 6.0 vin not available ECM vxbc9q2 version sw-1.01.8 tv-6.0.6 default tune download installed

sounds like its brains got scrambled. if it thinks it's loaded but has no VIN, it's definitely going to kick a VIN mismatch

Any idea how to fix it h&s is still closed for the holidays I guess

you can try posting on their forum on here and hope that somebody sees it, otherwise, you're going to have to wait till they open back up
