which tuner and gauge setup??

I'm new here and sure this has came up over and over again but I've read through threads and archives and didn't find exactly what i was wanting to know. First of all my truck is now in the shop getting deleted and studded and putting on 4" diamond eye turbo back dual exhaust. Now I'm needing to know which tuner to go with, iI know it will be SCT but not sure which one. I'd love to have something that I can switch on the fly but not mandatory. Also would like t be able to monitor everything i need to but don really care for the gauge pods on the pillar, would much rather have a dash mounted setup. And last but not least...I keep reading about "custom tunes"....what should i run? Most weight i probably pull will be my boat but i do also pull a 24 ft trailer with 4 harleys in it. PLEASE HELP...my truck will be done this week and only thing I'm lacking is a tuner/gauge setup.....Thanks in advance!!

Sct X3 with edge insight cts or cs... Best bang for your buck set up and gets everything accomplished. As far as tunes go.. Call Matt at Gearhead, Vivian at quick tricks, or Eric at innovative. Can't go wrong with any of them. Tell them what you want and they will take care of you.

That's it too and is what I have. (so of course I am going to recommend what I have) IMO the Edge Insigt CTS monitor (NOT the Evolution. Just in case you get confused) was the best upgrade I have done for my truck. You can monitor way more things than you have space to mount gauges. I recommend you get the EGT probe and Pressure sensor setup so you can monitor fuel pressure. JMO

I have the SCT x3 with a custom tune from Truck Source Diesel. It is just my preference and just about any of the popular custom tuners will get you setup right. I just recommend staying away from RCD and MKM customs but again that is JMO.

I would recommend Edge Insight CTS(not a tuner) for data and the SCT tuner for tuning. The X3 will need to be loaded with custom tunes. The SCT SF3 will have 5 preloaded tunes and room for three custom tunes.
