Sorry left it blank.. So I found a sct programmer on Craigslist for $100. Guy says its brand new and for a 6.0 powerstroke. He said it is preloaded with 3 tunes. What do I do? I want one bad but can't pay the big money. 100$ is cheap.. Anyone have any idea on if it sound ok?

Read this link, if you need to print it out to take with you.
What to look for when buying used SCT for 6.0 Just be careful with using used custom tunes, the '03-'04 truck strategies won't work on the '05-'07 trucks and vise versa.

Your welcome, when you meet the guy and before you exchange cash. Plug the SCT into your OBDII port, then scroll to device info, you will need to check if it's locked or unlocked and how many unlocks left. On that same screen, you can find the serial number.
Make sure your cigarette lighter fuse is OK, it uses the same fuse for your OBDII port. If the fuse is blown, the OBDII port won't work and you can't power up the SCT.

Does the serial number have any way of showing if it is for 03-04 or 05-07? My truck is 07

If the seller doesn't e-mail you the custom tunes or at least puts them on a flash drive, then there is no way for you to pull them off the SCT device to save onto your PC. So if you decide to buy someone else's tunes and load the new tunes onto the SCT device, you'll loose the used custom tune.
