Just got the new pipes today but getting the old one off the hangers is a total PITA. What's the trick? Special tool?

I just pulled really freakin' hard, lol. They eventually pop out and you slam your hands into something along with your head sometimes... The new ones go in fairly easily though!

Did anyone re-insulate the down pipe off the turbo?? The stock pipe is pretty well insulated....makes me think its there for a reason.
