6.0 programmer which is Best/Why?

I have an 06 F250 and have studded the heads, EGR delete, 4" MBRP no CAT, and I have a constant check engine light, I know it can be gotten rid of with a tunner but which one is the best. I use this truck mostly for daily commute, but would love to have it stronger. I have a used Edge Juice with Attitude model# EJF2000WAM, is this a good programmer or would you recommend something different. Thanks in advance, Eddie

Well, after reading forum after forum until my eyeballs bled; I bought the SCT x3. You pays your money and you takes your choice.

SCT is the only way to go.

You need custom tunes to get rid of the light, that limits your choices. SCT has the most tuners/tunes available, PHP can tune via some edge products (CTS/CS EVolution, and some Edge programmers), I have run hypertech max energy, Edge evolution cts, and Quadzilla, hypertech, and Dr Performance modules. I hate the canned Edge Extreme tune, Smoky slow, and poor drivability, the EConomy tune was ok, The hypertech ran well on all three levels, very smooth. The Dr performance (old 115hp unit,) and the 3 stage Quadzilla both ran strong after letting the transmission adjust,the old hypertech piggyback computer with 3 levels was great, but custom tuning has made all of these off the shelf tunes obsolete. I am waiting on custom tunes from php for my CTS evolution, If you need a cts anyway why not try one with PHP tunes?,Later I may get an SCT if I do not like the PHP tunes, but, I am very happy with their FICM hyb rid rollback.

Are you all talking about SCT SF3 that is waht I have found on SCT website it is part # 3015?

The SF3 comes with canned tunes and can hold 3 custom tunes. The X3 doesn't come with any tunes and holds 3 custom tunes. Either will work for you.
