Sct sf3 performance tune

Whats the word on the performance tune that comes with the sf3? After 228,000 miles and just a 4'' straight exhaust and a blue spring fpr, i finally picked up a programmer. When i downloaded it i turned the egr off and selected the performance tune. The truck blows black when i want it to and basically runs like the stock tune on steroids when floored. Its awesome. I can keep my foot out of it alot more than before for city driving and highway cruising. Is this where the mpg gains come in? Truck runs alot smoother and stronger too.

I've seen better MPG with the stock performance SCT tune. I haven't gone to an aftermarket tune yet but I would put the TSD Super Pantie Dropper at the top of the list. They say that the tune is night and day compared to the stock SCT tunes. After I recuperate from putting in a new motor and get may savings account back up, I'll get it.

If your gonna floor it get those heads studded, SCT preloads are good tunes, the customs from the above mentioned dealers can get a little more out of it, definitely want the heads studded for those

The canned tunes don't even compare to custom tunes.

The tunes dealers sale are written for studded and non studded trucks. Just gotta tell a tuner what your truck has in it.

oh i know ive seen vids of trucks with Eric's and Matt's tunes they are nuts. But my truck pulls hard enough now

and also, is a cold air intake worth upgrading to? like s&b or something?
