If memory serves me correct the stage 1 is 62mm and requires a $500 carge

powermax is 63.7mm and does not require a core. And cost less.

Your memory is still good! LOL!

Industrial is 62mm, and requires a core charge. Also if you send in an '03 core with the compressor wheel (loud whistle) you'll get an '03 compressor wheel for the industrial turbo at no extra charge, now if you have an late '04-07 core and want the '03 compressor wheel, you'll have to pay an extra $400 for it. In other word, what ever turbo compressor wheel you send in as a core, is what you'll get back.

I bought my II stage1 years ago, but when/if it decides to crap out on me, I'll be going to a Powermax.

Unless you plan on bigger injectors down the road, go with a stock replacement.

The pmax is good with bigger sticks(up to 175's if you plan on towing.) I bought one because my turbo crapped out at the time, all I could tell was a little better midrange pickup. It was a tad laggier at off idle and ran out of air on the top end like the stocker does.

Those are d*mn good prices. I've only seen lower one other time and it was a huge sale and not much lower at all. Makes me wanna spend some money.......I wonder how pissed my wife would be?

injectors down the road, but i don't tow, if i do its not more than 5k across town.what would you say for the biggest injectors for the pmax? i found someone on here that had a site of refurbed stockers with different nozzles and they were cheap! under $2000 i think, but i can't find the site

yah thats about the price i see on ebay, but i'd rather give business to someone on the org though

175s is as big as I would go with the pmax, you can do 190s but for get towing and it will be a smokey pig
