Just got the SCT SF3 what should i expect?

So i finally got a programmer for my truck, i got it for just over 340 from extremediesel.com and right now all i have is a 4'' turbo back straight exhaust. truck has 228,800 but runs great with no problems. what should i expect from this thing performance and fuel economy wise and is it safe to run the sct performance tune untill i get a custom tune for it?

yes its safe to run those tunes. fuel wise depends on you and your right foot. power wise you will see a decent increase but nothing like a custom tune

well if i retain my regular driving habits then should i expect any increase? i dont drive like a mad man at all i usually give it enough throttle to get where i need to with the pace of traffic. and im usually cruising at 65 @ 1800rpm's so should my highway mileage go up any from the sct tune?

i just did the sct tuner with the preloaded tunes and 4in turbo back, was getting 15.1 around town now around 17-20 depending on where im going and how i drive. i would like to pick up a custom tune just for comparison some say huge difference some not, most likely depends on the tuner, gonna give matts srl tune a try. have fun its a big difference from stock to tuned

I've been running the canned performance tune since march and love it and it made a HUGE difference in power I have no problem roasting 38's

No studs? What are your egts like when your wot on 38s?

No studs on original hg's no gauges yet so I don't stay in the throttle more than 5to10 sec

ive been running the canned performance tune with the egr turned off for almost a month now its huge difference over stock performance and drivability wise it does smoke before the turbo spools up but thats only when floored.. fuel consumption is def less now. srl tune coming this month for sure
