U joints.....

So I went with the Extreme Race tune from Eric @ Innovative and it got me thinking....I have 167000 miles on my truck and NO idea when it had the U joints replaced. Questions is, what do you guys recommend? I used to run Naepco's all the time but should I just go with ones from FORD?

I always use Dana/Spicer u-joints. That is what most factory vehicles use.

I get mine from NAPA, never even thought to look at Ford. As long as you keep them lubed then I've never had issues with them.

Dana/spicer or Neapco, it doesn't matter!

When I worked at the Dana/spicer plant in Pottstown, Pa, If we got over booked or ran behind shipping schedule, we would send some of the work over to the Neapco plant just a couple of blocks down the road, then when the u-joints or end yokes were finished at Neapco, the parts were shipped back to Dana to be packaged with a Dana label and vise versa.

I use the Neapco u-joints, only because I get them FREE from a good friend who is upper management.
