Question Ordering new gauges have ?'s before ordering

Ordering gauges as soon as I get your answers. On the fuel pressure I have 2 options 30psi and 100 psi, which one? what is normal psi? EGT temp, 1500 or 2500 degrees..again which one? Seems the higher of the 2 will cover both but i have no clue. thanks for the help

Fuel pressure needs to go to 100 psi. Trans temp needs to go to 250 or so. Pyro only really needs to be at a max of 2000F but if it were me I would get one that read to 1600F because if you go higher than that you want to be letting off the go pedal and come back down.

For fuel pressure, you should go with 100 psi b/c stock fuel pressure is 50 psi or slightly higher without any upgrade.

X3 on 100 psi on F.P. Pyro is pyrometer, it measures your EGT, exhaust gas temp. Like stayed, find a gauge that goes to 1600, it's plenty high. If your getting close to 2000*

What gauges are you going with?

I highly recommend an Edge CTS monitor (not the evolution tuner) over analog gauges. It monitors WAY more stuff than you have space to mount gauges. It is expensive but is totally worth it IMO. Take it from someone who has done both setups and I can say for sure that it is one of the best upgrades I ever did to my truck.

The only down side is you have to add the fuel pressure and egt probes but the cost is still less than if you went with analog gauges for fuel pressure, transmission temp, pyrometer, and boost or whatever you wanted to monitor and the CTS just plugs in. JMO. I highly recommend you look into this even at the expense of 15% off on POS (IMO) glowshift gauges.

I have never seen or rsearched glowshift, but have read plenty of negative remarks. The most popular and reliable I have heard of are Isspro EV2, Autometer, and the CTS monitor. Windrunner and I have gone back and forth about analog vs digital before, and it's true, the CTS is the best bang for the buck. I prefer the analog myself and own a set of EV2.
