Aftermarket Intake Manifolds
Just lookin around at them, not going to buy one right now but I would like to in the future. I know the gogo manifold is probably the best, but its for trucks with EGR deletes and I dont have one. I found Rudys and Elites (both on Rudys site) anyone know anything about them? The Rudys one is the cheapest and $800 isnt bad if it has good gains. Just curious what someone elses thoughts are.

Well I do have an EGR delete and will be going with doug's manifold when I get the coin. It is my next upgrade. Now I am not trying to say that the manifold from Rudy is not as good but doug posts real data about actual air flow improvements and Rudy or Elite doesnt do that.

Ya, I agree I would love to go with Dougs, but be I too would like to see some flow numbers. Plus being in CA I dont know how much they would harp on you during an emissons tes for that intake manifold if at all. I've never had to do one so I dont know how picky they are about that stuff.

Next time you are getting the CA emissions checked ask the tech to point out the EGR cooler on your truck. I bet you will be running deleted shortly thereafter.

Lol, ya. Thing is I live in one of the few exempt counties for now, may move in a few years so it might not be til then that I can check. Right now I just have the up-pipe blocked and thats good enough for the time being. Would love to just delete it though.
