Superchips Vivid PAQ

Anyone know anything about the new Superchips Vivid PAQ? I am getting ready to do studs, etc. and was looking at the SCT X3 and the Edge CTS combo. This looks like it does everything the SCT and the CTS will do plus much more.

That's a new release not sure about honestly, that's probably why haven't gotten a response.

Thanks Scott. My major questions are: Can the VIVID take custom tunes? Will I be able to monitor everything the CTS monitors? What is the power source for the VIVID. It looks like you have to plug it into your computer to recharge it. Can it be direct wired into the vehicle so I don't have to take it out every night and recharge it?

The idea of the Archos Android tablet was to provide the user with a tuning solution based entirely on Bluetooth technology. VIVID is one of many apps on the device that the user can take advantage of. You can even add a phone carrier to the Archos device to turn it into a phone as well as run GPS through it.

Accessories Included in the VIVID PAQ are a windshield mount, USB cable and car charging unit. Once connected to the data port the VIVID LINQ or bluetooth dongle can be left attached indefinitly. The LINQ takes its power from the vehicle only while in use communicating with the vehicle.

Currently the VIVID is 50 states emissions legal so custom offroad features are not on the drawing board at this time.

A.K.A. not going to provide any real power addition to my truck.

I can almost guarantee that you cant add any monitoring sensors like for fuel pressure and oil pressure.

Thanks for the info. Scott. I will probably stick with my original plan SCT X3 with the CTS.

I realize the product isn't for the hard core users but it will benefit those who are concerned with their warranty who want performance gains, improved driveability and mileage.
