SCT SF3 and EGR Code

Will the SCT SF3 tuner with its canned tunes remove the EGR code that you get then you delete the egr's on the 2007's? Came across one for a super deal and want it for my work truck. Just a concern that came up. Thank you!

Oh no its for a different truck that's not on my signature. its a 2007 6.0 and i want to delete the egr but i don't want it to throw a code. The truck is a work truck that doesn't need anything great. this guy I came across is ganna trade my stock front bumper for it. but i want to make sure it will remove the egr code if i do it.

I am not sure if that would be one of the options or not, you could always ask Eric for a stock no egr tune once you delete it.

What Matt said. SF3 has a bunch of setup options and one of them is EGR delete. Just make sure the unit is unlocked or unmarried. Easy to check, just goto SCT website and they will explain it. It took me 3 tries to find one unlocked. 150 bucks to unlock from SCT.

Good point if it's locked I would sell the bumper and put some money with it and buy a brand new one. Make the deal so you can put it on your truck before you buy. If it isn't locked he shouldn't have a problem with that as long as you agree to take it.
