Banks six gun..

Okay, so my truck has had a banks six gun on it, but it doesnt work.
Never has, No green light showing its on, Ive checked all fuses and all wires/ connections, no idea what is wrong with it?

I know i know, stc.. its coming, but until then, any idea whats wrong?
And should i just take it off? Thanks in advance.

yea i would just take it off. had problems along time ago with my dads banks on his truck (which was a dmax) and we had to send it in almost once every 2 months because it would stop working. they are junk to me and not worth trying to fix

my friend had it also and it worked for about 6 months then stopped then started again out of the blue and stopped so he took it off and went sct

Thanks. I think ill just take it off, all i need is to be losing performance somehow by it being plugged in and not working.

If you have the IQ module you can check for your voltages. You should be getting 12 volts from the OBD port on one of the corner pins. If you are getting voltage there you can check the yellow line on the connector that looks like a phone jack. You should be getting 12 volts there also. A good indication is to look at the communicator module and see if any lights are on. If you get voltage in both of those or than your communicator is dead.

Don't have the iq module and the box under the hood is that what you are refuring to? No lights are lighting up on it.

The six gun with speed loader I had on my truck when I bought it never had any LED or anything on it but it worked just like it was supposed to. I could definitely tell it was working though. Are all the wires connected under the hood? There are three I think that are supposed to be tapped in to the PCM

Yeah, i checked all wires, even downloaded a manual and made sure everything was right. I mean, it might be working if thats the case, but.. idk man it doesnt feel powerful.
