Banks 6 Gun w/ IQ question
I am purchasing a 2003 F-250 w/ a 6.0. The truck has the Banks 6 gun with IQ dash mount! I know they have a 6 stage tune program but I have no idea what the lvl's are for H.P and Torque gains. 1-6! I had a friend call and he got a call back from a guy AT banks and he couldn't answer the question. Just told him the modes like economy,economy +,towing, ect. And idea's?Would appriciate any help. Thanks

The 6 Gun with the IQ should have 7 levels on it, how ever banks doesn't rate each level with the HP gained. They just state the max gain of 138HP 231 lb-ft.

That's odd to me but I'm sure your right. I've looked everywhere and have read nothing about it. Does the 7th Lvl add even more HP? And should it be on my IQ or do you have to pay for an upgrade? Thanks for the help.

Are you looking to add HP, or just a monitor solution or both?Because there are better options for the 6.0.

Not really looking to do anything. Was just curious about a few things. Didn't know if the 7th Lvl was included with my tuner because I have the IQ or if it was added for a cost. Just trying to find out. And if it added more than the stock 6 lvl hp!

It's just gonna be a daily driver. Nothing crazy. I won't use the higher settings much. Should be fine.

exactly what i was about to say! they dont tune the tranny what so ever. i know this isnt a duramax that its on but we had one on my dads 06 duramax before we knew anything about them. needless to say we sent it in over 10 times because it quit working and the last time the truck would not shift outta first. took the system out and whatcha know the truck shifted just fine. one of the times though we were pullin a dozer to a job site and blew and i mean blew the stock TC. although we were pullin quite heavy we had done it many times before we had that system. i want to say that the banks had a big part in that because and allison doesnt just give way without a fight.
