S&B intake

I just bought a 2006 F250 6.0 and it has the S&B cleanable intake system on it. My question is, Is the S&B a good intake with the reusable filter or do I need to find a factory intake? or would a disposable paper filter for the S&B intake be a good option?

If you can get a stock filter set up cheap I would. If not I would keep the S&B for sure. Keep the S&B filter well maintained

IMO the S&B intake is a great system however, the filters should be serviced (either cleaned or changed) more frequently than a stock filter does. If it were me, I wouldnt spend the money to go back to stock. I would just get the disposable filters from S&B (since they are roughly the same price as a stock filter) and use those so you dont have to mess with cleaning if you didnt want to. Other than that S&B does in fact make an easy way to reoil their fitlers should you decide to just clean, oil, and reuse.
