I know I want to get one when they come out with one for the 05-07 models if for no other reason than they are designed to be WAY more reliable.

reliability is the only reason I got one in my 7.3. But it also made it so much better

What did you notice, better mpgs etc....? I plan on getting one just think I would feel better having one it not worrying about it failing.

how much more reliable do you want than an 05+ pump? they rarely fail compared to the swash plate pump

Well I just had my HPOP fail on me when I was restoring from my head stud install. I had buttoned everything back up and cranked the vehicle until it started. I only let it idle for a few minutes and had to shut it down due to an oil leak on my oil cooler setup and when I went to restart the truck it never restarted. I bought a new HPOP and have been good to go since, about 600 miles so far.

sure it wasn't just the STC fitting on the pump? the new pumps come with a revised branch tube connector. the original connector can seperate completely causing a near total loss of high oil pressure

Yes, I had replaced the STC fitting on my pump last fall when I did my egr delete and oil cooler delete. I have to say it was very confusing. Now lets not hijack this thread any more than we already have.

I spoke with Bill from Diesel site about the adrenaline and he said they worked great ,seem to make the trucks smoother and also the standard pump was good for 190 injectors.
