SCT tuner mpg drop issue

In my 04 f350 I noticed a mpg drop when I tune the truck from stock. I am running IDP custom tunes and in economy tune i drop from 14 mpg to 10mpg. The only other upgrades the truck has is AFE full metal intake and the swamp diesel 58v FICM with out the mild tune. The truck has 4.10 gearing and 6 speed manual with a flat bed on it.

Your street/strip tunes will do better in MPG. Even the tow tunes do better than the economy tunes.

K I will try the Tow tune and when I get a new clutch I will try the street tune since it tends to slip the clutch. Thanks for the help
