5.38 Gears
i am going to change gears. i am going to run a 44 or a 54 inch tire.. i am looking for 5.38 gear set..
anyone know of a good place to get gears?? i need websites por favor!! |

![]() Randy's is great! Top notch customer service as well! Edit: They will probably ask what you plan on doing with the truck. When you get up in that 5.38 range, the pinion head gets real small. They're not known to hold up to real abuse in a Sterling. |

Yea you would probably be better off with 4.88s or actually what I would recommend is having a set of dana 80s built if you want to go with 5.38s if you plan on much abuse. JMO.

i dont plan on abusing it .. i am gonna run micehlen xl's 43's.. pavement only.. i am building a mud truck in the back yard right now

if you are going 43's go with 4:88's I do not think you can legally run 53's on the road
