Do I or dont I

I am getting ready to install my new turbo back exhaust and the stock exhaust has a heat wrap after the turbo on the down pipe. Do I need to put that on the new exhaust or do I just leave it off? Will this really effect underhood temps? Thanks

I never wrapped my down pipe and have been running it for three years.

why not just do it if its not that hard cant hurt keeping heat in exhaust where it belongs

I never wrapped mine either..they have that heat resistant stuff on the firewall pretty much the whole way down anyways. I don't think it will make any difference if you do or don't.
