Installed CTS just one or two ?

Ok so this past week I received and installed my CTS I ordered from ID. It went on well and even adding the EGR probe wasn't too bad. (I am a newbe at automotive work as my parents opinion is just take it some where and have it fixed) I just have two question. While running down the highway at 60-65 my EOT and my ECT have a 9* difference. Sometimes it will range from 2-12* when getting going or just putting around town but on highway I have a 9* difference. My questions are is that bad. Right now my truck is stock except for a muffler delete on a stock pipe.

So should I do my coolant flush now, add a coolant filter and keep the EGR and Oil cooler in till I get a 15*

Or

Should I just say this is a large enough difference and pull the EGR, add a BP, new oil cooler, and then do the coolant flush before I get a 15* difference?

I would get the coolant filter on ASAP that way you can start filtering the coolant to help the oil cooler. I think a 10* the coolers are starting to get into trouble it will take 5-7k before the system is cleaned then i would do a Restore flush only and install ELC coolant CAT EC-1 Rated but just remember you may have to do coolers but you would have to do a flush before you did the repairs anyway, are your temps BAD no but they will get bad if you do not get the Ford Gold Junk coolant out.

If you can afford it I say go for it take care of it now before it gets bad and leaves you stranded somewhere.

I don't think it will leaves you stranded because you know what your temps are, i have seen temp deltas posted my member of 30-35* now you may get stranded or if you pulled a heavy 5er. Mine solo run 4-6* and when pulling my 5er of 10* ECT 218* EOT 228* in 90* temps on a 6% grade 6 miles long.

Well I am going to be ordering a dieselsite filter system soon. I guess I will just see how long I can keep the EGR together. I wonder if switching the coolant and adding the filleter will actually prevent me from having to delete it?
