tuners and chips!

Hey everyone. i gotta 2004 6.0 and i am looking for a chip or tuner. i would like one that blows some smoke. not looking for ALOT of power but some. what do yall think? thanks. http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/ima...ilies/woot.gif

Get an SCT livewire tuned by innovative or some other custom tuner. He can tune it very lightly for you but you won't get smoke. If you want power, you won't get smoke like you want. You want smoke, take off your turbo or put a bag on your air filter.

I'm not trying to be rude, just trying to be honest. A lot of (dumb) people think that blowing smoke is cool. Ok fine, I like it too, but when you do it all the time in traffic, on kids, and other cars it's not. It gives the diesel community, Ford's, Chevy's, Dodge's, and ALL diesels a bad image that we are trying to clean up. Yes, very powerful trucks blow smoke, but that's because they have dropped thousands and thousands of dollars to make raw power and it just so happens smoke comes out too. There are a lot that have such clean tuning that they don't blow much. So if you like smoke, you could get a tune for it, but it's wasted power that will eventually build up carbon in your motor and other parts and cause problems. Get a mid range power tune from someone who will custom tune it and they will make it perfect for you.

im not looking for a ton of smoke. mine dosent smoke at all and i would like alittle.

Look into what Raul said. An SCT with custom tunes will add a bunch of power and give you some some smoke until the turbo lights. Gauges would be a real good thing to consider asap. His package deal would be ideal!

nope... not a whole lot of people use quadzilla... i would say the majority of 6.0L owners that have their truck tuned are using a SCT with custom tunes...
