MBRP Exhaust??
I am thinking about installing an MBRP turbo back system on my 2003 F350.
I wanted to go with the no cat no muffler version. Does any one have any experience with this? Will this be way to loud for a dailly driver?

03 6.0 will sound badazz with some exhaust. I'd do 5" with muffler if it were me(that's what we did on my dad's old truck, the turbo sounded awesome).

Do the turbo back, no cat, but with the muffler! It will sound better and won't have that loud drone. I deleted my muffler once and felt power loss. Get the system with the muffler and you will be happy.

Thanks for the info. I'll go with the muffled version.

thats the only way i recommend on doing a TB exhaust kit on a 6.0L... its not terribly loud but deffinatly louder than the stocker...
there are a few different versions of that setup... did you know what grade of steel you wanted and did you want the off-road edition which will not allow you to put a cat back in or the regular version that you can get a cat test pipe and put the cat back in whenever you have to do emission testing? |

I personally like it better with a muffler, but i think it sounds great without it too....right now i dont have my muffler on and it sounds pretty good at wot....but i would only do a 4inch, ive heard where u lose alot of the turbo sound when u go to a 5inch, and having an 03 want that turbo sound.....

I'm also thinking about doing this same 4" system with no cat no muffler and looking for any input pros/cons you guys have. Also on the straight pipe version can a muffler be installed later by simply swapping out the muffler delete pipe or is it all one piece that has to be cut out? Thnx.
