programmer question
so im looking into a new programmer for 2006 6.0. shes bone stock and i was originally just gonna get the sct extreme but now some guys i work with are telling me about this sniper commando programming software for my laptop. Has anyone heard of this or used it before that could give me some info on weather or not i should just stick with the sct or buy that software instead

ya i never have either until the other day. from what i seen from a bit of research its basically fords version of efi live. its just a program and usb to obd2 cord and you can basically just change every aspect you want which is way scares me because i feel like i can just go threw my truck and screw every thing up. And ya thats why i want the sct i got buddys with it and they love it and it seems to work for every one.

Isn't that the software they use to write the tunes for the SCT's, or am I pulling stuff out of my butt again?
Just get an SCT. If there was something better to use, more of us would be using it. Even if it was the EFI live for Ford's, do you know how to write your own tunes? I know I don't, which is why I pay guys like Eric to write tunes for me. |

Yep custom tuning is VERY difficult and can be quite expensive when things start blowing up... Stick with some of the custom tuning manufactures. Matt@Gearhead, Innovative, etc..
