exhaust question

so im leaning towards getting some 5in exhaust cause i love the way it looks and its only 80 bucks more. so i talked to 3 or 4 companies selling them and one of the guys said with the 5in exhaust i would lose some of the awesome turbo sound and i would get more turbo sound with the 4. is this true or is he just feeding me bull? i figured with the bigger pipe you would get more of the sound. but thats why im asking you guys.

Meh, you may loose a touch of wistle but with a 6.0 I would guess not much if any, but you will gain more growl from the engine

4in has more sound period. It's louder whistle and louder engine noise.

5in gives you a deeper sound. You still have plenty of whistle and engine noise. It's just deeper engine noise.

These are from my 5"

You would be happy with the 4". It is a good looking and sounding size. I think of it as the compromise size.

Ya, you would be happy with it. But if you have $70-80 to spend. Get the 5"
